This study explores the motivation and actions of small and micro-sized enterprises (SMEs) when initiating digitalization projects. By analyzing responses to a 100-question survey, the study reveals their needs, contradictions, and challenges, offering insights into their focus, actions, and the potential hurdles they face in adopting digital solutions.
