This study reviews 58 articles to analyze the use of design methodologies in applied Augmented Reality (AR) research. Findings show that User-Centered Design is the most commonly used approach, while other methods like Human-Centered Design and Participatory Design are underrepresented, highlighting the need for refining design practices in AR research.
